March 26, 2026 — San Marcos, Texas – Hill Country Linces are proud to announce Tanya Noujaim as the new Head Coach of the club’s USL W League team.Noujaim steps into the role with a strong connection to the club, having already been part of the club environment as an assistant coach with the USL League Two side, Hill Country Lobos. Her familiarity with the organization, players, and culture positions her well to lead the women’s program into its next chapter.
Originally from California, Noujaim has been coaching since 2008, building experience across both California and Texas. She most recently served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for St. Edward’s University’s women’s soccer program, where she continued to develop collegiate-level talent.
Her recent work in USL League Two also provided valuable experience in a highly competitive pre-professional setting.
Noujaim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Edward’s University and a USSF D Coaching License, reflecting her commitment to growth and development within the game.
A first-generation Egyptian American, Noujaim brings a deep passion for soccer and a strong sense of community to every team she leads. She is known for fostering a culture built on unity, accountability, and shared purpose, values that align closely with the club’s identity.
“She’s already shown the kind of coach and person she is through her work with our USL League Two team,” said David Walding. “She understands what we’re building here, connects well with players, and brings a great balance of energy and structure. This was a natural next step.”
Noujaim will also continue working alongside her husband, Jonas, who serves as the club’s USL League Two Head Coach. Together, they bring a collaborative and aligned approach that strengthens the overall pathway within the club.
She will take charge ahead of the upcoming USL W League season, with a focus on building a competitive squad while continuing to expand opportunities for women’s soccer within the Linces organization.
